March to demand Solution and Reunification, Now! Wednesday, December 14 at 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM UTC+02

The negotiation process is currently entering its most decisive stage and at this critical juncture, the bi-communal peace and reunification movement calls upon the two leaders to take all necessary steps so that they reach a negotiated settlement at the Geneva talks next month.

We would like to congratulate Mr Anastasiades and Mr Akinci for their commitment, dedication and hard work to reunite our homeland and we extend to them our full support. The people of Cyprus expect our leaders to move swiftly and without hesitation along the declared path, based on the solid ground already covered and seeking creative ways out of the difficulties currently faced.
We recognise that whatever agreement is reached cannot be perfect and that there will be problems on the way. The Bi-communal Peace and Reunification Movement, along with the vast majority of Cypriots from both sides, will work hard to protect the reunified state that will emerge and safeguard peace and prosperity, despite any problems that might arise.

The prevailing conditions both within Cyprus and the area, create a positive conjuncture for achieving a solution. Such a development will revitalize the Cyprus economy and will allow Cyprus to become a pillar of stability and cooperation in the area.  Conditions, however, change and the window of opportunity will not always be there. We therefore need to act now!  We call upon our leaders to maximize their efforts to achieve results up to and in the forthcoming Geneva talks. We call upon the broader masses of Greek and Turkish Cypriots to unite in action to push forward for Solution and Reunification.

Let us all work so that 2017 becomes the Year of Reunification!
